We are excited to offer an incentive prize to keep you motivated and reward you, for your hard work. The DSG will award two Southwest Airlines Tickets to one lucky Step Up Walk team captain.  Any team that has raised $5,000 by 5:00 PM on September 10^th will have their name entered in a drawing to win the tickets.  The winner will be drawn and announced on the Step Up Walk website on September 11^th.  Please be aware that tickets must be used within one year of winning and we cannot guarantee availability of preferred dates/flights/destinations.  Get the word out to your friends and families that you need help to meet the $5,000 goal to be entered in the drawing to win.

Saturday September 25, 2010, Arrowhead Stadium, Parking Lot C. The event will be from 9:00am to 1:00 pm

Everyone will enjoy a hamburger/hot dog lunch with fruit, KFC cole slaw, chips and a drink. Ice cream, yogurt, milk and coffee will be featured within the event, along with Poppin Joe's Famous Kettle Korn.

A few important dates to remember...

Team t-shirt pick up date- Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the FDFDS/DSG Office from 9am-1pm

Get ready for some great family fun activities- Radio Disney on stage, rock wall, pony rides, inflatables, clowns, stiltwalkers, crafts and so much more.

9:00-11:00am - Registration

9:00am-1:00pm- Festivities & Radio Disney on stage. Steven St. John with 810 AM radio will be the Master of Ceremonies this year

10:00am-12:00 noon- Food

10:45am- Awards & Annoucements

11:00-11:20am- BEST Network Performance

11:30am- Kids' Dash (ages 5 and younger)

11:40am- Color Guard/ National Anthem

11:45am- Walk Begins

1:00pm- Walk & Festivities Conclude

The 2010 event will be in Lot C this year. This lot is on the east side of Arrowhead and is very close to the stadium. We will be able to walk around Arrowhead Stadium this year, which is one mile in distance.

We ask that our families park in Lots D and or B and walk over to Lot C. We will have plenty of signage directing you, from the gates. There are three entrances into Lot D and all three entrances will be open for you to park. Lot B has two entrances and both will be open.

Vendors and volunteers will be able to park in the far northeast corner of Lot C.

Handicapped individuals will be able to park their cars on the far east side of Lot C, coming thru Lot D. This area will be flagged, so it is easily recognizable. There are a number of limited spots, so it is first come, first serve. Once these spots are full, there is plenty of handicap parking in Lot D.

• With appropriate support, individuals with Down syndrome can lead fulfilling lives and be contributing members of society.
