2009 Kansas City Step Up Walk

Congratulations!
Thank you for your participation at the Kansas City Step Up Walk on Saturday, October 24th, approximately 6,500 people experienced the power of unity and celebrated the wonderful people in their lives affected by Down syndrome. The Kansas City Step Up Walk was a HUGE success! Parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts & uncles, cousins, friends, children, clinicians, teachers, and celebrities came together to raise over $380,300 so far.
But We're Not Done Yet...

Gather your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers as we celebrate those with Down syndrome, Saturday, October 24, 2009. Arrowhead Stadium, Lot L.The event will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Everyone will enjoy a hot dog, brat or sausage lunch with fruit, cole slaw, chips, and a drink. Ice cream, yogurt, juice, milk and coffee will be featured within the event, along with Poppin Joe's Famous Kettle Korn.
Get ready for some GREAT family fun activities- Radio Disney, inflatables, clowns, a 4 sided rock climbing wall, tubs of fun ride, pony rides, stilt walkers, crafts, and so much more! KC Wolf will lead the start of the walk this year!
Scheduled activities for the day of the walk:
9am-11am- Registration
9am-1pm- Festivities and Radio Disney on Stage!
10am-12noon- Food
11am-11:30- BEST Network on Stage!
11:30 am- KIDS Dash
11:35 am- Warm up exercises lead by Lee Jones
11:45am- Awards
11:50am- Color Guard/National Anthem
12Noon- Walk begins- KC Wolf to start the walk
